Couple Sessions
This is not conflict management. It is an invitation to know each other more honestly.
The Work
I trained as a psychologist and as an IFS practitioner. Twenty years of sitting with people, in sessions and in ceremony, taught me the same thing: when you understand what is alive inside you, you can finally be present with another person.
That is what we work toward. Not better arguments. Real presence.
I work with Anna, my wife and fellow IFS practitioner. Together we hold space for both of you. Each person is seen. Each person gets to show up fully.
Sessions draw on IFS, psychology, and two decades of sitting with people navigating difficulty. We work with what is real between you, and with what is real inside each of you. That is where the change lives.
How We Work
The First Call
Thirty minutes, free. Come together or one of you comes first. You tell us what is going on. We explain how we work. No pressure.
Individual Sessions
Each partner meets with us separately first. This is where we get to know your inner world privately, before bringing it into the shared space.
Joint Sessions
We follow what is real between you. We help each person stay connected to themselves and to the other at the same time. That is the practice.
Into Daily Life
The work doesn't stay in the session. We work toward what it looks like between sessions, at home, in ordinary moments. That is where it takes root.
